Erected in 1854 by W.W. Page, the bulding was
used as a Flour Mill. The original structure was a 4-story building. |
|
W.H. Miller & Sons established a Planing
Mill in 1886, flourishing until it closed in 1986. |
|
The LUMBER MILL ANTIQUE MALL is owned by Dean
and Janis Miller. Present owners are not relatives of the W.H. Miller family of
Madison. |

Our fine old structure is constructed of
4-brick thick walls. The large center beams are 12" x 15" of oak and are
47 feet in length. Each is hewed from a single tree. The joists in the
building are 2½" x 13" full cut also of solid oak, and set on 12" centers. |
